As we enter this new millenium, so does Rootstock enter its third Decade.
To kick off this occasion, Rootstock has released a small CD of originals. While the disc is in no way a full length CD, it was meant to display the many different styles and tastes the band has to offer. Five songs in all, with each song featuring one of three main vocalists, backing vocals, keys, guitars, and drums. The project also includes backing vocals by local jazz great Paula Simonte, and was co-produced by Spencer Brewer in his own Laughing Coyote Studio in Redwood Valley CA.

Not only does this CD represent the foundation that has always been Rootstock, but also heralds the calling of a fresh new time and sound. With Yanahay Hooper, Tom Forest, Lex Krauss, Osibisa, and new member Ellery Clark on bass, Rootstock launches forward into the new millenium.
