Russian River Records and the Boys & Girls Club of Ukiah announce the release of a compact disk, containing a compilation of family, pop, rock, reggae, country and blues.
This CD contains songs from Ukiah California's best known bands. All the songs on this album were produced and recorded locally. All 17 songs chosen for this CD are both appealing and appropriate for family listening.
All the artists on the CD donated their time and talents to this project to help raise funds for the Boys & Girls club of Ukiah. This project was the brainstorm of Ken Ingles of Russian River Records and Kelly and David Raitt of Green Wave Productions.
The idea is to sell sponsorships for the Boys & Girls Club of Ukiah for $50.00, which will give you a CD and T-shirt, and your name will be added to a plaque in the new club entry hall. 100% of the proceeds from selling these sponsorships goes directly to the Boys & Girls Club of Ukiah. Everyone involved in this project has and will donate their time and efforts to this fund raising project. Russian River Records plans on releasing at least one CD per year to further the cause.
They have pledged their time and efforts to become a major fund raising element in the continued long term funding of the Boys & Girls Club of Ukiah. The Ukiah Chapter of the Boys & Girls Club of America gives local youth a safe environment for recreation, learning, and community activities.
